Killzone 2 first came out on February 25, 2009 for PlayStation 3. It’s a first-person shooter game developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The player controls Tomas “Sev” Sevchenko as he and his unit battle the Helghast as the Vektans invade Helghan.

It is the second main installment in the series. The game takes place two years after the events of Killzone.
