Red Dead Redemption first came out on May 18, 2010 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It’s an action-adventure game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games. The player controls John Marston, a former outlaw who arrives in the small desert town of Armadillo in the fictional state of New Austin to take down a criminal named Bill Williamson.

It is the second installment in the series, following Red Dead Revolver.
