Silent Hill 2 first came out on September 25, 2001 for PlayStation 2. It’s a survival horror game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo and published by Konami. The player controls protagonist James Sunderland from a third-person perspective as he explores the town of Silent Hill, solves puzzles, and fights monsters.

It is the second main installment in the series.
